→ Same token id
The original is held by the wrapper contract while it is wrapped. Your wrapped token carries the same number.
→ Unwrap any time
Unwrapping burns the wrapped token and sends the original back to your wallet.
→ What you sign
One carpet: a single transfer to the wrapper. Several: a one-time approval, then one wrap transaction. Unwrap: one transaction.
→ Marketplaces
Wrapped tokens form their own collection. Sales history and offers stay with the original, so cancel any listing before you wrap.
→ Outside this page
Deposit only with safeTransferFrom. A plain transferFrom to the wrapper mints nothing and the original cannot be recovered. Never unwrap to the wrapper's own address: both tokens would be locked in it for good.
→ Approvals
Anyone you approve on a wrapped carpet can also unwrap it. Approve only marketplaces you trust.
The wrapper has no owner and cannot be changed. This page only talks to your wallet and to public Ethereum nodes.
